The Augusta County Fire Protection Design Policy gives general procedures for implementation of Chapter 24 of the Augusta County Code relating to Fire Protection. The policy should be used along with Augusta Water’s Design and Construction Standards to determine the number of fire hydrants, their placement, and other considerations needed to achieve the required fire flow.
