What do I do if I did not receive a bill?
Augusta Water bills are mailed out on a bimonthly basis. If you have not received your most recent bill in the mail, please contact our Customer Service Department. They will gladly provide a billing statement and verify your address information.

How do I locate water and/or sewer lines prior to performing work?
Please call Virginia 811 or submit a ticket through their online system at least 72 hours before digging.

To disconnect or stop your service, please contact our Customer Service Department during our regular business hours with the account holder name, physical address, turn off date, and a forwarding address for the final bill.

How much time do I have to pay my bill after I receive it?
Payment of bills is due thirty (30) calendar days after the billing date. If the due date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the due date will be the next Augusta Water business day. Payments are due in the office of Augusta Water by the close of business on the due date.
If payment is not received, the account will be considered delinquent. Requests for extensions are subject to approval by the Customer Service Supervisor on a case-by-case basis.

If your water bill has a noticeable increase in consumption you cannot account for, you should do the following:
- Review your usage on EyeOnWater.
- Check your premises for leaks. Remember, customers are responsible for all water passing through the water meter, so repairing leaks on your property and your side of the meter will save you money.
- Check all faucets, showers, outdoor spigots, and irrigation heads for possible leaks.
- If you are unable to locate the cause of increased water usage, call a plumber to visit your property and assist in identifying potential causes.
