We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in governmental or fund accounting. Knowledge of governmental procurement and purchasing is highly desired. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and Governmental Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting Standards is preferred.

Responsibilities: Operate a water truck in order to control dust emissions and to clean paved surfaces. Perform wash downs and grease jobs on landfill trucks and equipment. Maintain shop and other landfill facilities. etc. Operate mowing equipment to maintain the grounds around landfill facilities. Operate zero turn lawnmower, string trimmer, chainsaw, farm tractor, and bush hog. Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Remove trash, debris, mud, and snow from paved and unpaved landfill roads using a shovel or snow thrower.
